2025 Global Leadership Summit – Grantleigh Schools

2025 Global Leadership Summit. The Grade 11 students from Grantleigh School, Richards Bay, had the privilege of attending the 2025 Global Leadership Summit. It was hosted at Richards Bay Christian School. The event, focused on leadership development and Christian values. The students were provided with a unique opportunity to learn from inspiring speakers. They also engage in group discussions, and participate in hands-on activities.
Upon arrival, the students were greeted with a warm welcome and given a booklet that guided them through self-reflection exercises. The powerful presentations and discussions also revolved around several key themes. It included the importance of authentic connections, the freedom of forgiveness, as well as the identification of core values.

Personal journeys

Throughout the day, students were challenged to reflect on their personal journeys. It also included acknowledging negative habits and understanding the impact of their actions. One of the highlights was the emphasis on leadership with integrity and after God’s heart, alongside the vital role that mentors play in a young leader’s development. Students were also encouraged not to let fear silence their voices and to find their creative genius.
In addition to the valuable lessons, students participated in a bridge-building activity, fostering teamwork and collaboration with students from other schools. This was a meaningful way for them to connect, share insights, and engage in leadership development exercises together.
The event was an unforgettable experience that underscored the importance of faith, personal growth, and leadership.
