Good quality cricket and good sportsmanship were the overall winners of the 2022 Pro20 Night League.
The semi-final and final matches took place at the Kimberley Oval over the weekend. All schools involved competed against each other throughout the series to get an opportunity to play in the shield, plate, or cup final.
The results of the weekend are as follows:
In the shield final, HC Rose played Frank Roro Hub. HC Rose played ‘wicket cricket’ and walked away as the shield winner! Congratulations to both of these Hub teams on their good play.
In the plate final, Staats faced KJS. Staats quickly showcased their excellent talent and achieved a stunning result. Staats takes home the 2022 plate! Congratulations to all the boys, you were true ambassadors of our school!
In the cup final, Newton played against Seodin. Newton achieved great results and won the cup! Congratulations Newton, your hard work throughout the series has paid off.
The following boys excelled throughout the series and achieved the following:
- Batsman of the series: Neil Steynberg (Laerskool Eureka)
- Bowler of the series: Kieren Adams (CBC)
- Player of the series: Faizaan Kajee (Newton Primary)
