schoolsthatrockWorld Lyrical Dance Federation. Kalinda Harmse, Grade 10 learner of Curro Aurora in Randburg Gauteng, was awarded the opportunity to compete in the World Lyrical Dance Federation World Championships. She has emerged victorious as a 2 x World Champion!
Kalinda’s final results at the World Lyrical Dance:
- Lyrical Solo Elite Under 18 (Highest level in the age group) – 1st Place and World Champion. She also achieved the highest score across all under 18 levels in this competition.
- Jazz Solo Level 2 Under 18 (Highest Level in the age group) – 1st Place and World Champion. She also achieved the highest score across all under 18 levels in this competition.
- Acrobatics Advanced Over 16 (Highest Level in the age group) – 2nd Place and Vice World Champion
- Lyrical Duet Over 16 Level 2 (Highest Level in age group) – 4th place
- Lyrical Quad Over 16 Level 1 – 4th place
- Jazz Squad Over 16 Level 1 – 6th place
