schoolsthatrockWinter Beavers Short Course: Glenwood student & swimmer – Sean Gibson (Grade 8G), competed in the KZN Winter Beavers Short Course Champs. He did remarkably well. Not only did he place in a total of 9 events earning himself a podium finish for each, but also improved the majority of his times by an exceptional pace to say the least.
In the KZN Winter Beavers Short Cource Champs the 200m Freestyle event alone, Sean improved his personnel best (PB) time by an astounding 11 seconds
Sean’s results for the Winter Beavers Short Course:
1st – 400m Freestyle; 200m Breaststroke – 1st; 1st – 200m Backstroke; Backstroke 100m – 1 st ; 2nd – 100m Breaststroke ; 50m Breaststroke 2nd; 3rd – 200m Freestyle (11s off PB time). 100m Freestyle – 3rd and 3rd – 200m IM.
