The Western Cape Schools’ Netball Inter-District Tournament 2025 is in full swing, showcasing top-tier youth netball talent from across the province. This prestigious event is part of the broader DStv Schools Netball Challenge. It is also a cornerstone of South African Schools Netball (SASN). The tournament is offering young athletes and officials a platform to compete, grow, and represent their districts with pride.
Parel Vallei High School is proudly represented not only by two standout players but also by Rouxlé Roux (Grade 11). She served as an umpire for the U/17 matches. This is an impressive achievement that highlights her leadership and commitment to the sport. Several PV officials are also contributing behind the scenes. They also ensure smooth operations and uphold the school’s reputation for excellence.
Their participation also reflects the spirit of dedication and sportsmanship that defines Parel Vallei. “A heartfelt thank you goes out to these individuals for their hard work during the holidays and for proudly flying the PV flag high.”
About the Tournament:
- Held on 18 July 2025, the tournament is hosted in the Western Cape. It features teams from various districts competing for top honors.
- Matches are also part of a national initiative supported by Multichoice, SASN, and the Department of Basic Education, aimed at promoting inclusivity and development in girls’ sports.
- The event also serves as a training ground for umpires, coaches, and officials, reinforcing the holistic growth of netball in South Africa.

Die Wes-Kaap Skole Netbal Interdistrikstoernooi 2025 is tans aan die gang en bring van die beste jong netbalspelers in die provinsie bymekaar. Hierdie gesogte toernooi, wat deel vorm van die DStv Skole Netbal Uitdaging, is ’n belangrike geleentheid vir talentvolle spelers en beamptes om hul vaardighede te wys en hul distrikte met trots te verteenwoordig.
Parel Vallei Hoërskool is trots verteenwoordig deur twee uitstaande spelers, sowel as Rouxlé Roux (Graad 11), wat as skeidsregter vir die o.17-spanne opgetree het—’n merkwaardige prestasie wat haar toewyding en leierskap in die sport onderstreep. Verskeie PV-beamptes is ook betrokke agter die skerms en dra by tot die suksesvolle verloop van die toernooi.
