Weekly school galas. SACS Swimming Report.
The SACS swimming team has enjoyed an outstanding start to the season. The swimming team has hit the water running this season, with both A and B squads making waves at weekly galas. The Grade 8 swimmers have been on fire, bringing fresh energy and depth to the squad, while the U14A team has shown real dominance in its age group.
At yesterday’s gala, 5 February, hosted by Rondebosch, the A team powered through the competition to claim 4th place overall, while the B team showed grit and determination, finishing 8th against tough opposition.
There were standout performances that lit up the pool:
- Fin Hodgskiss (Grade 9) – sharp, fast, and unstoppable.
- Daniel Schaefer (Grade 8) – explosive swims with podium finishes.
- Liam Brand (Grade 8) – fearless racing and top results.
All three boys secured first or second places in their events, proving that SACS swimmers are a force to be reckoned with this season. The team spirit, energy, and fight on display promise even bigger things ahead!
