schoolsthatrockWeekend of Sport. It was a special weekend of sport for St Charles College. Both the Prep and Senior School did extremely well.
Our U9 and U11 cricket teams played fantastic cricket. The U11Bs, one of our teams of the week, were one better than their opponents, beating Cordwalles in a thrilling match. This following their win against Merchiston last weekend.
In the Senior School, a phenomenal set of results was achieved on the weekend of sport. On the basketball court our first team continued their run of great form, but it was our U16As who received a doughnut this week for taking their match all the way to the final buzzer and winning their game with a three-pointer in the last minute.
And what a day it was on the cricket field for the Senior School against both Clifton and Kearsney. The first team, U16As and the U15As with a clean sweep of victories against strong opponents. The U15A team produced some of the best cricket of the season in every aspect of game. Excellent bowling, phenomenal fielding and top-class batting were on show for all to see. – Mr Divan van Wyk (Sports Marketing).
