Q: The lockdown snack that will make my school clothes fit too tight when school starts again…
A: Chips, cake and fizzy drinks.
Q: You are a coloured pencil. What colour are you and why?
A: Purple. It’s my favourite colour. It has a calming effect on my mind and also purple combines the the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The colour purple is often associated with royalty and that’s how I like describing myself.
Q: You win a vacation to anywhere in the world. Where are you going and why?
A: London, because there’s a lot to see in London, all the historic landmarks and modern day attractions seems like they can keep one occupied for the day. I’ll also like to see the Shakespeare’s plays which are still being acted out even today. And I’ll love to see the Tower of London, Tate Modem and the Buckingham Palace.
Q: What superpower would you like? Why? And what would your superhero’s name be?
A: Telekinesis – which is the ability to move objects at a distance with my mind. It’s like having all the strongest powers at once: Flight, invulnerability and super strength , all without moving a muscle. I’d be able to do various things within a short period of time. Reason being I’ll be able to move things from one point to another without moving. My superhero name will be Lady Strength.
Q: If a Gr 7 learner asks you to describe VHS , what would you say to convince him/her to choose VHS?
A: VHS is one of the best schools in the country. It excels in academics as well as in extra mural activities. We don’t just focus on academics, but also on different talents that learners have.
