schoolsthatrockAscension Day is celebrated on the 40th day after Easter Sunday and it commemorates the day Jesus Christ ascended back to heaven. This celebration is a reminder of the Kingdom of God within our hearts, and of the ever-present Holy Spirit, watching over and protecting us as we spread the light of Jesus’ truth throughout the world.
This year, on Wednesday 12 May, UCSA (learners) took time to write messages to Him, honouring and giving thanks to the Lord. These messages were written on helium balloons and were then released into the heavens. As we celebrate this glorious day, remember that the Lord is preparing a home for you in heaven and that you have been blessed by Him.
