U16 CSA Cricket. FG Botha, learner from St Andrew’s School Bloemfontein, has been crowned batsmen and all-rounder of the U16 CSA Cricket tournament.
This effectively makes FG South Africa’s best batsman in his age group.
FG scored 99 on the final day of the CSA U16 National Week in Pretoria. Free State U16 played against SWD in the promotion/relegation playoff match for Free State to get back in the A-division. FG played a viral role in winning the game as did Reuben van Aarde (Captain), who scored 39 in the match.
Heindré Serfontein took 2/23 in his bowling spell during this match along with Nikhil Sukraj, another Saints player who also took a wicket.
