schoolsthatrockSwimming – Learners from Trio High School, Kroonstad participated at the Free State Inter High School’s Gala. The gala took place in Bloemfontein on 23 and 24 February. The Trio swimmers are also members of the False River Swimming club.
The Trio learners obtained the following achievements:
- Chené Jacobs: 200m Fly – bronze medal
- Annika Serfontein: 50m Fly – bronze medal, 50m Free – 4th place
- Shaun Morgan: 50m Fly – silver medal, 50m Free – bronze medal, 50m Breast -4th place
- Ruan Jacobs: 100m Fly – silver medal, 50m Fly – silver medal, 200m Breast – bronze medal, 100m Free – 4th place
- Girls u.17-18 Freestyle Relay – Bronze medal (Zanri de Witt, Chené Jacobs, Charmae Donald, Annika Serfontein)
