Swimming. Four PRG swimmers, Mathew Beetge, Gerard February, Daniel Stander and Michael Potgieter competed in the Regional Age Group Gala hosted in George from 29 March to 2 April.

The level 3 Regional Swimming Competition saw four swimmers competing in George from 17-20 March. Among them, they managed to win 6 gold medals, 9 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Senior and Junior Nationals

Seven PRG swimmers participated in Senior and Junior Nationals in Gqeberha which was the last swimming event of the season. Congratulations on reaching the finals, which placed each swimmer in the top eight in their respective age groups in the country.

Results Junior Nationals:

  • Nicholas Malherbe: u/15 100m and 200m Breaststroke finals.
  • Stefan van Heerden: 50m Freestyle final.
  • Johan van der Merwe: 50m Freestyle and 100m Fly finals.
  • Reuben van der Merwe: 50m Backstroke finals.
  • Jannie Boonzaier: participated at Junior Nationals.

Senior Nationals Results:

  • Thomas Forbes: 1500m Freestyle final.
  • Francois Malherbe: participated at Senior Nationals.
