Summer Sport - Maritzburg College on the go to a thrilling year

Summer Sport. The new year is underway, and Maritzburg College’s summer sport teams are already hard at work. The redblackwhite boys are back on the fields, courts, and in the pool, preparing for an exciting season ahead!

Cricket: Pre-season is in full swing as our 1st and 2nd teams face Clifton, Ashton, and invitation sides, combining afternoons of training with competitive matches under the summer sun. Meanwhile, our U15s have kicked off their campaign at the DHS Lance Klusener Cricket Festival.
Basketball: Players are immersed in the annual camp and early fixtures against Hilton and Kearsney College, sharpening their skills, fitness, and teamwork from dawn until dusk.
Water Polo: College’s water polo squads are already in the pool, focusing on technique refinement and stamina building as they prepare for the upcoming season.

With such strong preparation across all codes, Maritzburg College looks forward to a thrilling year of sport and achievement!
