🌍 Baie geluk aan Minè de Klerk en Tyla Wasmüth, twee trotse oud-Gouties, wat gekies is om deel te wees van die Suid-Afrikaanse atletiekspan vir die FISU Wêreld Universiteitspele in Duitsland! 🇩🇪
Hierdie internasionale sportfees, bekend as Rhine-Ruhr 2025, vind van 16 tot 27 Julie plaas in ses Duitse stede, insluitend Bochum, Duisburg en Essen. Meer as 8 500 atlete van oor 150 lande sal meeding in 18 sportsoorte. Atletiek is een van die hoogtepunte van die program.
Minè en Tyla sluit aan by ’n indrukwekkende groep jong sterre wat hul land en universiteite verteenwoordig. Hierdie geleentheid is nie net ’n sportbyeenkoms nie, maar ook ’n viering van kultuur, akademie en internasionale samewerking.
Minè, wat reeds naam gemaak het in velditems, en Tyla, bekend vir haar spoed en uithouvermoë, sal hul talent ten toon stel teen van die wêreld se beste student-atlete. Ons weet julle gaan Suid-Afrika se vlag hoog hou!
Sterkte, Minè en Tyla! Die Goutie-gemeenskap is ongelooflik trots op julle. Mag julle elke tree op die baan met selfvertroue en trots neem. Julle is ware ambassadeurs van ons land én van Goudveld Hoërskool.
South African Athletics – Goudveld High School 🇿🇦 Gouties on the Global Stage!
🌍 A huge congratulations to Minè de Klerk and Tyla Wasmüth, two proud Goudveld High School alumni, who have been selected to represent South Africa at the FISU World University Games in Germany!
This international sporting event, known as Rhine-Ruhr 2025, will take place from 16 to 27 July across six German cities, including Bochum, Duisburg, and Essen. More than 8,500 athletes from over 150 countries will compete in 18 sports, with athletics being one of the main attractions.
Minè and Tyla will join a dynamic team of young South African stars showcasing their talent on the world stage. The Games are not just a celebration of sport, but also of culture, education, and international unity.
Minè is already a standout in field events. Tyla is also known for her speed and endurance, and will go head-to-head with some of the world’s top student-athletes. We know they’ll fly the South African flag high!
