The St John’s D.S.G. Pietermaritzburg Grade 5s kick-started their Natural Science syllabus with a special lesson by one of the school’s Landscapers, Mdumiseni Zondi, who taught the girls about plant nutrition. The girls also planted flowers and herbs in the pots outside their classroom, which they will care for throughout the year.
