Congratulations to the following girls on their Equestrian achievements this year.
Sarah-Rose Friend competed in Regionals for showjumping and received her Ekurhuleni colours.
Michaela Bousfield competed in Regionals for showjumping and received her Ekurhuleni colours.
Emma Mitchell competed in Regionals for Equitation and received her Ekurhuleni colours.
Jessica Bousfield competed in Regionals on two horses and then placed to go on to Nationals where she finished 7th and received her Gauteng colours.
Lara Obadic competed in Regionals and then placed to go on to Nationals where she finished 19th in Prix Caprilli and received her Gauteng colours. She also received the Dedicavit Equestri trophy for doing four disciplines over the 4 SANESA Qualifiers, a fabulous achievement.
Leyah Dadoo competed in Regionals and placed to go on to Nationals where she finished 12th in Working Riding she also received her Gauteng colours.
Gabriella Jasson competed in Regionals and then placed to go on to Nationals where she finished 2nd and 7th in novice dressage and 20th in Equitation and received her Gauteng colours. She also received 2 victrix ludorums for Ekurhuleni in Dressage and Equitation as well as the TOP achiever in the St Andrew’s team.
Tannith Johnson competed in Regionals and then placed to go on to Nationals as a St Andrew’s rider. She finished 2nd and 7th in Showjumping and received her Gauteng colours. She also received 2 victrix ludorums for Ekurhuleni both of her showjumping classes.
Congratulations to the whole St Andrew’s Equestrian team on their wonderful results over the four SANESA Qualifiers throughout this year. As a team they ended the season winning the overall trophy in the E category. These categories are determined by the number of horse rider combinations over the 4 qualifiers. The last time we were in this category was in 2016.
