My name is Georgia Wensley, and I am in Grade 12 Athlone. I started at St Andrew’s in Grade 0. My favourite memory at St Andrews can’t be isolated to a single moment but rather it was the accumulation of all my experiences that I look back on most fondly. From all the laughs in Mr Kelly’s class to Monday catch-up sessions during tutor. It’s the small moments like those that I will miss most. St Andrew’s has taught me to move forward with grit while being anchored in grace; that the world is changed not by your opinion but by your example. My words of advice to the younger girls at St Andrew’s: Put yourself out there – you’ll never have as much time to do new things as in the younger grades. When the time comes for you to reflect on your journey at St Andrew’s what will stand out the most are the moments you tried something new and out of your comfort zone! After leaving St Andrew’s, I plan on studying actuarial science.
