My name is Elzette de Beer, I am in Grade 12 Athlone. I started at St Andrew’s in Grade 0. My favourite memory of being at St Andrew’s has to be all the Interhouse events we have had over the years. The Interhouse events unite us as a House, a grade, and a school; and they are always full of cheer, laughter and good memories. During my time at the school, I have learnt the importance of responsibility and good communication – where you can speak openly to your peers without the fear of judgment. My words of advice to the younger girls is that they should always find kindness in their hearts, because love and kindness is what makes school truly enjoyable. After school, I would like to study a BCOM in marketing through UNISA.
