Sports Award Assembly. At yesterday’s Sports Award Assembly, the SACS cricket awards were presented. Well done to the following boys on their achievements and recognition:

Andre Abrahams Cup: For all-round ability and sportsmanship in U15 Cricket – Aqeel Waggie (Grade 9)
Tom Reddick Memorial Trophy: For the most improved senior cricketer – Rowen Taplin (Grade 12)
Old Boys Cup: For the best batsman – Reza Salie (Grade 12)
Jacobi-Zartz Floating Trophy: For the most outstanding bowling performance – Litha Kraai (Grade 10)
Dr Basil Melle Memorial Cup: For the best all-round cricketer – Kieran Bowers (Grade 12)
David Silbowitz Memorial Trophy: For Sportsmanship and contribution to cricket – Nicholas Oscroft (Grade 11)
Vaughan Van Den Berg, Matthew Hill and Timothy Hodgkinson (all Grade 10) were presented with their 1st Team Tour tie for touring with the First XI for the first time.

In a special presentation, SACS Old Boy Dane Piedt handed over his Proteas shirt to Mr Alan Willows (Head of Cricket).
