schoolsthatrockSportdag: ‘n Sportdag het plaasgevind op 23 April tussen Hoërskole Aliwal Noord en Middelburg. Rugby- en netbalwedstryde wat plaasgevind het, het vir groot opwinding en hoogtepunte gesorg.
Die 0/15 rugby
Alies se 0/15 en Middelburg spelers het vir groot opwinding gesorg en Alies wen met ‘n telling van 26-0.
Drieë is gedruk deur Keyshaun Basson wat twee keer agter die doelpale gaan kuier het, asook Ashley Smith en Fanco Greyling.
Ox Dyani was suksesvol met 3 skoppe wat hy verdoel het.
JB’s 2nd Rugby team
JB’s vs Middelburg 2nd team: scored 36 -10 for the JB’s.
Tries for JB’s were scored by Stephan Du Toit, Keeran du Plessis, Elchandre Willemse, Ashton Du Plessis, Henco-Pieter Nel and Cassidy Du Plessis.
Neels Nelson was successful with 3 conversions.
Buffels 1st rugby team
Buffels 1st vs Middelburg 1st team: On a wet and cool day, the Buffels succeeded in beating Middelburg’s 1st team by scoring 6 tries to 2 in poor conditions. The halftime score was 10 – 0 for the Buffels after a scrappy and wet 1st half.
The 2nd half the Buffels played more intentsely and raised the tempo and through good kicking and great pressure converted mistakes into points. They scored 4 tries to the 2 of Middelburg in the second half.
Tries for the Buffels: Zuki Malila (two tries), Duran Sauer, Demitri Prosalouglou, Regard Vorster and Keeran Du Plessis. Marco Langenhoven succeeded with one conversion.
The end result was a 32 – 10 win for the Buffels at home. Congratulations!
Netbal uitslae
Ons Netbalspanne het ook teen Middelburg gespeel. As gevolg van die weer moes die wedstryde verkort word. Alies het alles gegee vir onoorwinnings tydens die Sportdag teen Middelburg. Die uitslae was as volg:
