Schools That Rock chat to Loudon Annandale

Schools That Rock asked a few questions to Loudon Annandale, Deputy Head Boy of Treverton College, Mooiriver, KZN

Question: What do you look forward to most when the 2021 school year starts? I look forward to the opportunity to improve the quality of life at Treverton by using my position and support to drive new positive changes.

Question:  Are there any changes or adjustments you would like to see happen at Treverton College? I would like to see changes in which the bond between the teachers and students is increased. The difference between Treverton and other schools is the family vibe that we as a school radiate. This family environment should be used as a valuable marketing tool and for this reason I feel we must support and maintain it.

Question: If you had to make a statement to convince someone that your school is the right choice, what would that statement be? This school is like no other. The small size of the school and the dense population of on campus activity create personal as well as a loving bond between teachers and students. The dorm life is filled with relaxed weekends, busy weeks and hard working nights. This environment will never be found anywhere else.

Question:  Who would you consider to be your role model at your school? Matthew Harberl (Matric 2020).

Question: Which sport activity offered at your school is your favourite? Rugby and hockey are my two favourite sporting activities.

Question: What is your favourite meal? Chicken wraps (Lunch).

Question: Which career choices are you considering after school? I am considering studying in GIS which is the technological aspect of surveying and satellite imagery. I am also considering studying a trade as an electrician.

Question:  Which university do you want to attend next year? University of Pretoria.

Question: Do you have a message for your fellow pupils for 2021? Don’t be a prisoner to things you cannot change. Instead become the flame in an explosion of positive actions. For every positive change you make in your life, something else also changes for the better it creates a chain reaction.
