SACEE Creative Writing. Congratulations to the talented pupils of Kingswood Junior School and Kingswood Senior School. Zoë Katherine Grové, Akudo Nwaogu, Zoë Sinclair, and Ben Naudé have distinguished themselves in this year’s SACEE Creative Writing Competition for Secondary Schools.
Zoë Grové’s prose earned Fourth Place nationally in the junior prose category. This is a remarkable achievement given the highly competitive field. The judges praised her work, noting: “Her writing is candid and lucid, with an authenticity that is deeply poignant and rather special.”
Meanwhile, the poems submitted by Akudo Nwaogu, Zoë Sinclair, and Ben Naudé were each awarded the Highly Commended distinction. This is also a testament to their creativity and literary flair.
👏 Well done to all four pupils for their outstanding accomplishments. Kingswood is very proud of you!
