SA youth football stars. From grassroots to glory, South Africa’s youth football stars shine.
From thousands of passes to the final 16, the Curro Halala Cup has reached its most exciting chapter. After months of intense competition across eight provinces, the country’s top school teams are heading to Gauteng this August to battle it out for national honours and the grand prize.
The finals weekend will take place at HeronBridge College, where teams will compete in a round-robin format across four pools. The top two teams from each pool will progress to the quarterfinals, then semi-finals, and ultimately the championship match to determine the 2025 Curro Halala Cup winner. Teams placed 9th to 16th will take part in the Plate competition.
Expect a thrilling atmosphere, competitive school spirit, and a true celebration of youth football. Families can enjoy the festive football village, complete with food vendors and a dedicated kiddies’ play area.
