SA Regional Level 3. From 9–12 April in East London, DSG proudly celebrated the achievements of two outstanding swimmers at the SA Regional Level 3 Championships. Ava Diessner and Leah du Plessis represented PEA.
Across four days of competition, both athletes demonstrated exceptional growth, determination, and character, achieving multiple personal bests and making their school proud.
- Ava Diessner impressed in her debut Regional Championships, qualifying for four finals (50m, 100m, 200m Backstroke and 200m Freestyle). She further distinguished herself by earning three relay medals:
- 🥈 Silver – 4×50 Freestyle
- 🥈 Silver – 4×100 Freestyle
- 🥇 Gold – 4×50 Medley
- Leah du Plessis delivered a strong and consistent performance, achieving multiple PBs and showing remarkable improvement throughout the meet.
DSG commends both swimmers for their dedication and sportsmanship. Their performances reflect the spirit of DSG and inspire pride in our community.
