Rowing SA U16 Development. Saints Rowers representing in the UK.
Five talented Saints rowers are currently enjoying a remarkable opportunity to compete against leading UK school and club crews as part of the Rowing SA U16 Development Tour.
The squad — Alebakwe Madiba, Hugo Price-Hughes, Isabella Landman, Danika du Plessis, and Annabelle Logan — are based at Dorney Lake, Eton College’s world-class rowing facility and the venue of the 2012 Olympic Rowing Regatta.
Over the past two days, the team has raced at the Wallingford and Scullery Regattas, delivering strong performances across a range of events. A standout highlight was a first-place finish in the U16 Girls Coxed Four, with Isabella Landman proudly part of the winning crew.
In the days ahead, the squad will continue with intensive training sessions and enjoy visits to the rowing facilities and historic campuses of Oxford and Cambridge Universities — an inspiring experience both on and off the water.
Congratulations to the Saints athletes — Saints is immensely proud of you. May you savour every moment of this extraordinary journey!
