Quantum Science & Engineering. Five of St Andrew’s School for Girls’ Grade 12 students, Tasneem Makda, Aurora Marsella, Rimbilani Mahange, Charlotte Partricios and Crystal Li, participated in the week-long Quantum Science & Engineering program.
The program was hosted by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) , ISASA, and St John’s College in January. The program was designed exclusively for Grade 12 students from ISASA-affiliated schools. It featured immersive lectures by MIT’s undergraduate and postgraduate students on nuclear physics, particle physics, quantum theory, and quantum technology. Beyond the lectures, the students showcased their creativity and understanding by developing and presenting projects that explored these advanced topics from their unique perspectives.
