Point High School: how Covid-19 changed my matric year

I started off this year full of excitement of what my last and final year of school would bring, but never did I expect any of this to happen or that I would be attending school during a global pandemic. It is of course not what I or anyone else wished for, being split into smaller classes and not spending time with friends or fellow peers like I used to does sadden me, but I know it’s for the best and for our safety. It makes you realize all the small every day things you took for granted in life and teaches you to be thankful for every step you take to get back to normalcy, or what is left of it. I am thankful to be able to finish off this year and know that Point High is doing their best to keep us safe.
