Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School Grade 12 learner, Deepika Sirkar, has qualified for the final round of the South African Mathematics Olympiad. Deepika is one of only 100 mathematics learners in the country to be selected to compete. She is one of five pupils selected from KwaZulu-Natal, and she is the only female representative in KZN.
The finals take place on Thursday, 10 September and the #GreenMachine is behind her.
