Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School’s Abigail Paterson excelled in Lions River Canoe Race

Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School’s Abigail Paterson  competed in the Lions River Canoe Race on Sunday, 7 February 2021 and was the 7^th lady home, 5^th  in the U16 age-group and the 1^st U16 girl home. 

Lions River Canoe Race with a difference, started with a 2.5km portage and included a 3km loop up the Umgeni from the confluence and then finished at the head of the dam. Still 15km and without the long flat trek to Pylon Bay and back.
