schoolsthatrockCelia Seerane (Evans), a Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High old girl, has just been selected for the South African Olympic Hockey Team 2021.
She played in the 1st team for three years at Girls’ High School and was the captain in her matric year, 2008. She was an absolute pleasure to coach!
Celia was the South Africa Field Hockey Player of the Year in 2016. She has also represented South Africa at Indoor Hockey. They played in the 2015 Indoor Hockey World Cup together, in 2015, along with Kara Botes (Stella) and Eloise Walters (Miskey). Celia has remained in both national teams for many years!
