The Mpumalanga Secondary Schools Championships took place on 10 March 2018 at Secunda Stadium. Congratulations to Zuneldi Labuschagne and Stefan de Beer on their selection for the Athletics Mpumalanga Track and Field team. They are chosen to represent the Province at the Athletics South Africa Sub-Youth, Youth, Junior and Under 23 Championships. This Championships is going to take place in Paarl from 5 – 7 April 2018.

A second team was chosen to represent the Province at the SA National Schools Athletics Championship from 21 March to 24 March 2018 in Potchefstroom. Congratulations to Stefan de Beer, Jandré Venter, Tanya Moyo, Thabsile Mashabane and Lize de Beer on their selection for this team.
