On Tuesday 19 February, twelve boys and three teachers travelled to Malmesbury for the annual Frank Myburgh Twilight Gala. Paarl Boys’
High returned victorious for the 9th successive year, winning the boys’ section comfortably over Paarl Gim, Worcester Gim, Parel Vallei, HS Hugenote, HS Swartland, Charlie Hofmeyr, Curro Hermanus and Bridge House.
Liam Coetzee set a new record in the boys U14 50 m Butterfly, previously held by Paarl Boys’ Higher Pierre Pretorius (2013). Angus Solomons and
Mr Janse van Rensburg proudly received the trophy on Paarl Boys’ High’s behalf.
