NMBA Swimming Prize Giving. 🏆 Grey High School Swimmers Make Waves at NMBA Swimming Prize Giving.

Port Elizabeth/ Gqeberha — Grey High School is basking in aquatic glory as two of its standout swimmers. The boys delivered stellar performances at the NMBA Swimming Prize Giving. Both took home top honors and reaffirming the school’s reputation for sporting excellence.

Jack Berry, a rising star in the pool, was awarded Top U14 Male Swimmer and named Junior Male Swimmer of the Year. This is a reflection of his talent and tireless training.

“Jack’s focus and drive set him apart — he’s a natural leader in the water,” said Coach Walters. “His success is well-deserved and just the beginning.”

Not to be outshone, Liam Forsythe proved his strength in open water. He earned Full Colours for Open Water Swimming, the Michael Marais Floating Trophy for Most Improved Open Water Swimmer, and defending his title as 3km NMBA Open Water Swim Champion (U14) for the second consecutive year.

“Watching Liam grow this season has been nothing short of inspiring,” noted swimming coordinator Mrs. Daniels. “He’s carved a name for himself among the school’s legends.”

Liam shared, “Winning the 3km title again feels amazing — but I’m just grateful for the support I get from my teammates and coaches every day.”

Grey High is proud of these exceptional athletes whose achievements reflect dedication, resilience, and the supportive culture of excellence fostered by the school’s swimming program.
