News from Creston College. It was an afternoon brimming with excitement and joy as the 2024 Grade 1 learners and parents of Creston College, Oslo Beach KZN connected with teachers at the recent Orientation afternoon. Happy parents also engaged with Grade 1 teachers while learners explored classrooms and playgrounds, meeting peers and forming connections.
The Group 5 children’s global adventure concluded in Mexico, exploring cultures, languages, and more.
Grade 3s embraced coding with Novi Bot in Robotics and learners have also been seen enjoying the stunning makeover of their newly painted games area. It was kindly done by parent, Mrs. Kerry Gawler!
The Under 11 and 13 cricket victories against Curro Salt Rock showcased school achievements. Sisters Arya and Utara Naicker received medals in acknowledgement for their excellence in their dancing tests.
The school is also proud of Grade 10 learner, Gemma Allchin. Her outreach was with South Coast Hospice in raising funds for this this worthy cause. Grade 10 learner, Simoné van Heerden, also spent a morning of purpose engaging in a beach clean-up at Scottburgh. In conjunction with Tidy Towns, Caitlin Di-Sante Kvalsvig in Grade 10, organised a drawing and colouring competition for children called the Clean Ocean Competition.
