National Soccer Tournament. Glenwood High School’s 1st XI Football Team performed very well at the annual @kloofhighschool U19 National Soccer Tournament from 24 to 26 June.
With determination from their success in the Second Term League, beating @durbanhighschool 3-0 in the semi-final of the @kznhsfa League. The team narrowly lost to @westvilleboyshigh_official in the final. The boys also made it to the Finals of the 32-team tournament. They bowed out in a hard-fought 0-1 defeat to the tournament winners @hts_louis_botha.gwijohub from Bloemfontein.

- Final: Glenwood (1) vs HTS Louis Botha (2)
The “Green Team” can also be commended for playing remarkable football over the past couple of weeks. The team also ended as runners-up in two tournaments over the past two weeks. Further to that, Onke Ncama, Smangaliso Ndlovu, Langelihle Manila, Ngidi Sbonelo, Wandilele Masnga, Masbogwe Ngidi and Sanele Mthembu were selected as part of the Kloof U19 ‘Team of the Tournament’.
