schoolsthatrockNational All Girls’ Festival. Hoër Meisieskool Oranje van Bloemfontein se 1ste hokkiespan is die 2023 kampioen van die National All Girls’ Festival, aangebied deur Eunice High School.
Die span was vasbeslote om sy verstommende rekord in die eindstryd voort te sit. Die span het die Rhenish High School van Stellenbosch in die finaal aangevat. Albei spanne was voor die aanvang van die eindstryd nog onoorwonne in die toernooi.
Die laaste keer dat Oranje in enige eindstryd vasgeval het, was op 29 April 2012 in dieselfde toernooi. Oranje het Saterdag in die halfeindronde met 2-0 oor Claredon High School for Girls van Oos-Londen geseëvier. Rhenish het Eunice in die ander halfeindstryd geklop.
Oranje en Rhenish het verlede maand met 0-0 by die St. Mary-toernooi gelykop gespeel.
National All Girls’ Festival. Hoër Meisieskool Oranje of Bloemfontein’s 1st hockey team is the 2023 champion of the National All Girls’ Festival, presented by Eunice High School. The team was determined to continue its astonishing record in the final. The team took on Rhenish High School of Stellenbosch in the final. Both teams were still undefeated in the tournament before the start of the final.
The last time Oranje got stuck in any final was on April 29, 2012, in the same tournament. Oranje triumphed 2-0 over Claredon High School for Girls of East London in the semifinals on Saturday. Rhenish beat Eunice in the other semifinal. Oranje and Rhenish drew 0-0 at the St. Mary Tournament last month.
