Crawford International Sandton College’ Grade 8 students made history at the Mental Math World Cup.
Competing against participants from 59 countries worldwide, the students have truly raised the bar in the Mental Maths World Cup Challenge. They have made their mark on the global stage. The first round, held from 12 – 16 July 2024, saw our students shine bright, and Crawford couldn’t be prouder!
In an impressive display of mental calculation prowess, Moath Hakami emerged as the number one ranked student in South Africa, followed by Rushil Balla in 6th place. Rahul Mistry placed 11th and Alexia De Jesus took 13th place. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the students’ dedication, hard work, and exceptional mathematical skills. Crawford International Sandton College extend their warmest congratulations to these students on their outstanding results. The college wish them all the best as they advance to the next round. “Your achievement is a shining example of excellence, and we celebrate your success!”
