Champ of Champs Golf. St Andrew’s School, Bloemfontein, is very proud of their golf champion! Xander Thomson (age 16), has won the Champ of Champs Golf Event at Schoeman Park Golf Club.
This is a special event where all the Club Champions of their respective Clubs in the Free State, battle it out to be crowned as the ultimate Club Free State winner, a true Champion of Champions.
Xander was crowned Club Champion of Schoeman Park Golf Club. He is the youngest winner in the history of the Club which was established in 1904.
Xander now advances to the National Final for the Free State Golf Union in a Golf RSA Event. This event will be held at Pecanwood Country Club on 29 September till 1 October, where the National Winer will be crowned.
It is also notable that this is a mens’ event so as a school boy Xander’s achievement is even more notable! What a Champ!
