schoolsthatrockMatric Art Exhibition. Two of St Charles College Matric Art students had work selected by Tatham Art Gallery. It is for their Best of KZN Schools Matric Art Exhibition this year.
Congratulations to Grade 12 AS Art students, Asanda Vengeni and Leighton Sclanders. Both had works selected for the Matric Art Exhibition. Asanda had four of his mixed media portraits on display. Leighton’s large mixed media lino print was selected. Both students’ works were from their coursework which was compiled into a portfolio and submitted to Cambridge in October.
The works showed their understanding of different media. It also showed their ability to use more than one medium very successfully in a single work. Asanda has used ink, pastel, pencil and paint in his works. Leighton used a collaged base on which to lino print.
