schoolsthatrockLowveld High School, Nelspruit, learners entered a writing competition that was run by an environmental education NGO (Ecostorybean) in Cape Town. It is called The Green Bean Story Project. It was held amongst schools in the Western Cape and we were the only school from Mpumalanga to enter. The learners had to write a story, poem or song lyrics relating to environmental issues based on a picture that they were given. Our learners won first and second prize in the competition.
