Joshua was die algehele wenner van die juniors (0/16) met ‘n gewig van 15,65. Hy het die grootste vis (non-scale/ sonder skubbe) van 11,11kg gevang. Joshua en sy spanmaat het ook die eerste plek behaal as span.
Joshua is ook gekies om die binneland span te verteenwoordig tydens die SA Kampioenskappe in Mosselbaai gedurende Maart 2024.
Light tackle boat LTB. Joshua de Jesus, learner of Truida Kestell Primary School in Bethlehem, received his Central Gauteng colours for fishing. He represented Central Gauteng at the Inland Light Tackle boat.
Joshua was the overall winner of the juniors (U.16) with a weight of 15.65. He caught the largest fish (non-scale/without scales) of 11.11kg. Joshua and his teammate also took first place as a team.
Joshua was also selected to represent the inland team at the SA Championships in Mossel Bay during March 2024.
