Aliwal North High school Anke Smith achieved her Silver President’s award!
A lot of hard work and dedication has gone into achieving this award.
Anke initiated a project recycling bottle caps. She has managed to get many learners involved in this project and they are still continuing with it. She was also involved in many other community service projects. This is what Qhama Dyakala of President’s award had to say: “Good to see you have done more than the number of service hours required and over a lengthy period of time. Very well done for your 48 hours, keep it up.”
She chose photography and leadership as her skills. Anke is a leader of our Alies Rotary Interact Club. She did hockey for her Physical Recreation. The Youth Camp in Jeffreys Bay as well as the Ryla camp in Kimberley was accepted as her “Adventurous Journeys.”
Congratulations to Anke Smit for achieving this Silver President’s award.
Aliwal North High School is proud of you.
