schoolsthatrockKrugersdorp High School (KHS) from Gauteng, was one of the nominees for the Secondary Sport School of the Year Award.
The principal, Ivan Bailey, and deputy principal, Pieter Coetzee, attended the awards ceremony on 6 March.
They were overjoyed when the final announcement was made.
The school had to meet a few specific requirements to be eligible for the reward, such as, the promotion of social
cohesion and mass participation, community involvement, and some key sports achievements.
