King Edward VII School. As the year draws to an end, this was the message to King Edward VII School from the Head boy for 2022, Dean Bacher.
Boys I pray for:
A 2022, filled with war cries,
A 2022 filled with goals and tries.
A 2022 filled with old boys in the crowd,
A 2022 filled with our brothers making us proud.
The mighty reds in numbers to dominate,
The red sticks out to seal their fate.
To the teddy bears they will kneel,
The red machine is all they’ll feel.
Sons of this place born and bred,
The fields of Jeppe, will be covered in red.
The red army marks its appearance yet again,
Shattering opponents’ dreams leaving nothing but pain.
Next year marks 120 years around the sun,
Let’s make it nothing but a memorable one.
Written in the stars, they’ve aligned,
The year ahead, 2022, our time to shine!
