Fantastic news from King Davids Schools to start the week….
“Our biggest congratulations to our very own Adam Bertoldi (King David High School Victory Park) who placed 1st in the country in the 2021 Geography Olympiad.”
Round one of the 2021 South African National Geography Olympiad (SANGO) took place on 18th of May 2021. Round Two (written task) was held on the 23rd of June. 2231 Learners participated from around the country in the second round, where participants had to submit a research project.
Adam submitted a Geography project on the Gulags of the Soviet Union. This was assessed internationally and they were extremely impressed with the standard. Adam has won an ESRI GIS course worth R10 000.

In terms of our teaching methodology, our schools, particularly in the junior high grades have embarked on a digital learning programme which allows our pupils to experience the most stimulating and interactive learning environment.
