KDay-1st Team Netball. Diocesan School for Girls’ 1st Team Netball Dominates in Spirited Showdown. The first team lit up the court with fast passes and focused defense in Saturday’s KDay netball clash.
Fans packed the stands, bringing color, chants, and enough energy to rival the on-court action. From the first whistle, KDay pushed forward with fearless precision, controlling possession and pace. Captain Thandi Mokoena led by example, scoring early and rallying her teammates with intensity and heart. Goal shooter Naledi Jacobs was clinical, landing 12 out of 14 attempts with ice-cold consistency. The defense, anchored by Zinzi Motau, forced turnovers that shifted momentum and fueled counterattacks. By halftime, KDay had carved a 10-point lead and showed no signs of slowing down. The opposition clawed back briefly, but KDay’s teamwork and composure sealed the final score: 38–27. Coach Daniels called the performance “a masterclass in unity, grit, and execution.” Pupils, parents, and alumni erupted as the final whistle blew—celebrating a team that played with heart.
