Jamie’s tour to Europe with the SA Junior Triathlon team went extremely well.  Jamie, (left on photo above),a learner of Paul Roos Gymnasium, competed against the best Triathletes in Europe and, as you can imagine, the level of competition was extremely high. Jamie (17)  is competing out of his age category. but was the best Junior Triathlete performer on tour.
These were his results:
24th at the Holten ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup;
5th at the Panevezys ETU Triathlon Youth European Cup in Lithuania (Semi Final);
14th at the Panevezys ETU Triathlon Youth European Cup in Lithuania (Final);
5th at the Tiszaujvaros ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup in Hungary (Semi Final);
11th at the Tiszaujvaros ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup in Hungary (Final);
11th at the Tabor ETU Triathlon Junior European Cup;
We are pleased to advise that Jamie has been selected to represent SA in the Junior Elite team for the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Rotterdam on 19 September 2017.  (He is the only male Junior triathlete selected to represent Triathlon SA).
