Interprovincial Lifesaving Championships. Camps Bay High School brings us exciting news from the Interprovincial Lifesaving Championships in Durban! Holly Smith, Gr 11 at CBHS and a proud member of the Western Cape Team, made a splash and brought home Gold!

Holly and her amazing team showcased their exceptional skills and outstanding teamwork throughout the competition, securing their well-deserved victory.

Holly’s contributions were crucial to their success, especially in the board, ski relay, and rescue tube events, where they dominated and clinched first place. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for Holly—during the individual ski race, she faced a challenging moment when a powerful wave knocked her off her ski. Nevertheless, she showed incredible resilience and determination, rising above the setback.
