Hoërskool Fichardtpark. ‘n Besonderse afskeid van ‘n uitmuntende matriekklas. Die matriekklas van Hoërskool Fichardtpark van 2022 is tydens ‘n spoggeleentheid deur mede-Fichies, ouers en onderwysers gegroet.

In ware Fichie tradisie het die matrikulante, net soos op hul eerste dag in Graad 8, onderdeur die vaandel gestap op hul laaste matriekdag. Die matrieks is toegespreek deur Mnr van der Merwe, skoolhoof van Hoërskool Fichardtpark en Mnr Goosen van die Departement van Onderwys.

Amy Jacobs en Dawie Botes (hoofleiers van 2022) het ‘n boodskap aan hul mede-klasmaats gegee. Carli Bouwer, graad 8 leerling het namens die Graad 8’s die matrieks toegespreek. Jaco Grobbelaar, hoofseun 2023, het ook namens die Graad 11’s die Fichie matrieks gegroet. ‘n Uitsonderlike toespraak is deur Niel Arlow gelewer. Hy het die Fichie personeel namens die matrieks vereer.

Met ‘n knop in die keel en ‘n lied in hul hart het Hoërskool Fichardtpark finaal hul matrieks gegroet. Sterkte met die eksamen.

Fichardt Park High School

A special farewell to an outstanding matric class. The Fichardtpark High School matric class of 2022 was greeted by fellow Fichies, parents and teachers during a prestigious event.

In true Fichie tradition, the matriculants, like on their first day in Grade 8, walked under the banner on their last matric day. The matrics were addressed by Mr van der Merwe, principal, and Mr Goosen of the Department of Education.

Amy Jacobs and Dawie Botes (2022 lead leaders) gave a message to their fellow classmates. Carli Bouwer, Grade 8 pupil, addressed the matrics on behalf of the Grade 8s. Jaco Grobbelaar, head boy 2023, also greeted the Fichie matrics on behalf of the Grade 11s. An exceptional speech was delivered by Niel Arlow. He honoured the Fichie staff on behalf of the matrics.

With a lump in the throat and a song in their heart, Fichies finally greeted their matrics. Good luck with the exam.
