Hockey Top Schools Tournament – Paarl Boys’ High U17

Hockey Top Schools Tournament. Over the past weekend from 23 to 26 September the Paarl Boys’ High U17 hockey team took part in the Top Schools Tournament hosted by Paarl Gimnasium.  

Our boys did extremely well, winning four out of the five pool games. We then went on to face a formidable Bishops team in the semi-final and unfortunately came up short. The team had to settle for fourth place after a tough battle against Hilton College.  

Our results were as follows:  

Beat St. Andrews                4 – 1 

Beat Worcester Gim          5 – 1 

Lost to SACS                         5 – 1 

Beat Stellenberg                 5 – 0 

Beat Paul Roos                    2 – 0 

Lost to Bishops                    4 – 1 

Lost to Hilton College       4 – 0
